Salary 15,000 20,000 The position A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Eight Wire 2 team as a graphic designer. The successful applicant will join a fast-paced design studio in one of Cornwall s leading full-service marketing agencies.
You will be a strong team player who loves to work hard, wants to show off your creativity and delivers great graphic design solutions for a long list of happy clients. You will be responsible for managing your own projects and ensuring your clients are happy. You will have a strong graphic design portfolio and a demonstrable ability to come up with concepts and execute them.
You will be passionate about creating amazing designs and pushing boundaries to produce innovative solutions. You will have excellent attention-to-detail and a great eye for layout. You will be a highly-organised self-starter who is able to work to tight deadlines and turn work around quickly.
You will be able to follow a brief and to visualise spoken or written concepts and to make changes where requested. You will be a dab hand at using a Mac with Adobe Creative Suite software for digital and print media outputs. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work well within a team environment and to strict deadlines, managing and recording your time and your projects seamlessly.

R equired skills Able to use Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
Able to use wire-framing and rapid prototyping tools to communicate design ideas. Able to design for websites and associated materials such as infographics, email newsletters, mobiles, etc. Able to work closely with web developers and other designers.
Able to create initial concepts and work through a prescribed process to achieve a finished product. Able to liaise with a client until you are sure they are happy. Ability in project management.
Image retouching skills. Interest in websites and digital marketing. General understanding of HTML and CSS.
