The platform, designed and administered by Ernest Grant Benefits, allows SWFT employees to actively engage with their current benefits, while delivering an expanding range of salary sacrifice schemes and a comprehensive range of rewards and offers. The portal, which was implemented in September, also provides access to partnership deals, such as retail discounts. SWFT wanted to centralise the delivery of benefits in line with the expansion of its workforce, with the aim of providing 24/7 access to employees, helping to increase employees engagement and the value they receive from their benefits.
The Trust worked with Ernest Grant Benefits to develop a strategy to communicate the platform to its workers via both printed and electronic communications. The provider, which was selected to administer the platform because of its experience with NHS pension and salary sacrifice schemes, has taken part in a range of events organised by SWFT, such as recruitment days and health and wellbeing groups, to engage them with their reward package.
